I don’t know about the rest of my fellow citizens, but I sure do!

I ate Chobani while I got ready for work. Once I got to the office, I ate the rest of my fresh strawberries, but forgot to take a photo. I felt like I was dragging a little bit so I asked my coworker Molly if she wanted to make a Dunkin Donuts run. Of course she did!

Even though I’m getting tired of the throwback jerseys, I’m happy that the Patriots are celebrating 50 years.

Mmm, pumpkin coffee is so yummy!

I had a chicken salad sandwich on Arnold Thins with 100 calorie Sunchips for lunch.

Boston is having a great weather day! Notice the lack of winter coat and socks! Yay! I love my toothpick cords from J. Crew. They’re much easier to tuck into boots because there’s less material bunchign up.

As I predicted last night upon completion of my Circuit Training, I was kinda sore today. I took it easy and just walked on the treadmill for 30 minutes. Then I sat in the sauna for 10 minutes. I felt completely relaxed and ready to return to work.

I snacked on a Nectar bar and a handful of candy pumpkins. Those little candies made me realize that I’ve totally forgotten to carve the pumpkins in my apartment. I also have to decorate my Gingerbread Haunted House.

I tried out Arnold Sandwich Thins for lunch today. I used the multi-grain flavor and sandwiched turkey, cheese, lettuce, and pickles in between the Thins. Obviously I had a little bag of Sunchips on the side. Mmm. The Thins were great. They’re thicker than regular slices of bread, but not so heavy that I felt overwhelmed by the carbs.

My poor Honey Crisp apple suffered a fall yesterday morning. I ate around the bruise.

I went to the gym and watched Superbad while I used the Elliptical for 20 minutes. I’m working on an article examining the Elliptical as a form of cardio that’s similar to running on a treadmill, but easier on the joints. After 20 minutes, I was definitely just as sweaty as when I’ve run. I sat in the sauna for 10 or 15 minutes. I love my relaxation sessions!

Finally decided to try one of the PowerBars I took home from the Half Marathon.

That snarly face shows that I wasn’t happy with this bar. It smelled great, but it was too tough and chewy. It was also really sticky. The caramel flavor might’ve been good, but the extra protein took away some of the sweetness and made it semi-chalky. I wouldn’t buy one of these…and I’m not sure what I want to do with the other PowerBars in my drawer. Yuck!

I made a mishmash of leftovers and fresh foods for tonight’s dinner. I boiled some wheat pasta and ate that with 3 turkey meatballs, a few spoonfuls of pasta sauce, and a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese. I had a salad with Garlic Vinaigrette dressing and baby carrots with Ranch veggie dip on the side.

I snacked on a Honey Crisp apple when I got up this morning. Now I can see why everyone raves about them. It had a different apple flavor than I’m used to (Granny Smith, Macoun, etc.) but it was so good!

Matt and Natalie organized a group brunch at Aquitaine. I ordered a Mimosa first. I figured I deserved one since I only drank two beers last night and then cleaned up after the drunken debauchery. The coffee looked really good so I decided to give it a try. Mmmm, so tasty. Not sure if it was because I used real cream or if Aquitaine brews theirs differently.

I ordered Brioche French Toast. It was topped with blueberries, cream, and 2 strips of bacon. I added maple syrup, and then proceeded to devour the entire plate. Very reasonably priced and so delicious!

The yard is a little messy form last night, but it’s too cold and rainy to clean up. Everything will be ok until it stops raining and I can get outside.

My parents had been dogsitting all weekend. They brought Miles back to Boston around 4 pm, just in time to watch the Patriots game. My mom brought ingredients to make chicken soup. I don’t have a big pot so we had to use two smaller ones. My kitchen is too tiny to keep proper cooking equipment.

I had a steaming bowl of chicken soup and a mini chicken salad sandwich with Sunchips. It was the perfect meal for a rainy day, and nice to spend time with my parents.

As you can see, I am using my official domain name. There are a lot of glitches in the theme that I chose. Jared has already made 1 million changes, but I’m sure there will be more. I am really frustrated with WordPress at the moment. I miss the ease of BlogSpot. Hopefully I will learn things quickly and the move will produce good results and more customization options for Crunches for Cupcakes.
