For a bedtime snack, I had some French bread and olive oil.
Here’s what my instant oatmeal actually looked like. Less delicious looking than Quaker’s photo; mine were too watery. I beefed it up by adding extra raisins.
I snacked on baby carrots dipped in Laughing Cow cheese.
For lunch I ate each Arnold Thin as an open [...]

It’s been a while since I’ve made stove top oats. I was so excited to combine:
1 cup of water
1/2 cup of oatmeal
1 tablespoon of cinnamon
1 cup of frozen blackberries
1 spoonful of peanut butter
I couldn’t ask for a better breakfast!
I ate lunch around 11 because I was going to Body Pump at noon. I [...]

Someone ate the last container of yogurt… So running late as usual, my only option was the grab a packet of instant oatmeal and scoot out the door. When mealtime arrived, of course I added a spoonful of peanut butter to beef it up a little.
Today’s outfit was another last minute decision. I [...]

I was super full last night, but felt hungry by the time I fell asleep. I woke up with a growling stomach. Stove top oats were needed to keep me full until after Body Pump later in the afternoon. My oats contained:
1 cup of water
1/2 cup of oatmeal
1 tablespoon of brown sugar
1 cup of frozen [...]

I was in bed by 10:30 and slept passed out until 10:30 this morning. I still have a stuffy nose but the aches and pains are gone. Yessss!
With temperatures in the single digits here in Boston, a warm breakfast in order:
1 cup of water
1/2 cup of oatmeal
1 tablespoon of brown sugar
1 tablespoon of blueberry flax [...]

I was really cold when I woke up so I knew stove top oats were in order. I threw a bowl together using:
1 cup of water
1/2 cup of oatmeal
1 tablespoon of blueberry flaxseed
1 tablespoon of brown sugar
pieces of dried apple
1 tablespoon of cranberry apple butter
It was tart and delicious. The pieces of dried apple added [...]

I always get inspired by food on other people’s blogs but never follow through and make it for myself. Today I did!
My stove top oats contained:
1 cup of water
1/2 cup of oatmeal
1 tablespoon of brown sugar
1 tablespoon of raisins
1 tablespoon of dark chocolate chips
1 handful of mini-marshmallows
You do the hokey pokey and you shake stir [...]

I made stove top oats for breakfast this morning using
1 cup of water
1/2 cup of oatmeal
1 tablespoon of brown sugar
1 cup of frozen berries
1/2 packet of Justin’s Maple Almond Butter
Ok, so I didn’t set up the bowl for the prettiest photo opp. But this morning’s oats were “berry, berry” good. I loved the sweet/sour berry [...]

“Daddy, I want a golden goose. Noooo, I want one of those! …I want one! I want a golden goose!” -Veruca Salt in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
