Since everyone was staying at the Lenox Hotel, right next door to the Boston Public Library, I decided to use their Back Bay Suite as the Bridal Suite during our wedding weekend.
The Back Bay Suite is gorgeous. There’s a giant sitting room with lots of seating and counter space. There’s also an enormous bedroom with a comfy bed and the softest sheets I’ve ever slept on.
And I can’t forget about the bathroom… A soaking tub and a rain shower!
The tub handles and spout were swans. Such an elegant detail!
While I’m all for elegance, I think I was most impressed by the bathroom mirror. There was a TV behind it! We enjoyed watching the Olympics while drying our hair and getting ready.
After returning from the salon where the entire bridal party enjoyed having their hair styled, I took a minute to arrange my wedding gown and accessories.
My photographer and videographers had requested that I set everything up in a quiet area of the Bridal Suite so when they arrived, they could have some space to photograph all of the important little details that I would be wearing during the wedding.
I nervously awaited my turn as I watched all of my bridesmaids as well as my mother and future mother-in-law take turns getting their makeup done.
Should massage from my dad; he’s a physical therapist. A great way to ease the pre-wedding tension.
Love, love, loved my false eyelashes. Once the glue dried, I couldn’t even tell that they were there. But when I looked in the mirror, my eyes popped. I felt gorgeous!
As we were finishing up with makeup, Miles made an appearance. I was so happy to spend a few minutes snuggling with my corgi-dog.
Prettiest bridal party I’ve ever seen! We didn’t have much time to enjoy our hair and makeup before we had to worry about putting on our fancy dresses and leaving for the BPL.
