Kids at heart, my brother and I couldn’t resist playing in the ocean. Stand on my little brother’s shoulders and try not to get knocked over by giant waves? Sure, sounds like fun!
I climbed up and Matt stood, lifting my above to water.
Reluctantly, he let go of one of my hands.
Hi Mom! Look at us!
I wish there were photos capturing the wipeouts when we got hit by enormous waves. It wasn’t pretty, but it was SO much fun.
All of my family members have been getting in touch with the inner children. Dad has been jumping waves. Uncle Jon and Kyle played catch with a football. Auntie Carol body surfed. I searched for seashells. Mom rode a boogie board. Jenna played paddle ball. Jared spent more then 2 hours out in the sun even though he was terrified of getting a sunburn.
(And poor Jared, no SPF is strong enough to protect his milky white skin. He ended up with a painful sunburn on his knees and chest.)
