Post-Surgery Puppy

Miles’ cruciate repair surgery was a success!

My Corgi is home safe and sound.  He’s wearing a cone so I’ve been trying to cheer him up by feeding him treats.

He’s embarrassed that he has a shaved back leg so I’ve been telling him that his fur will grown back soon and that he’s still handsome.

He’s having trouble hopping around the backyard so I’ve been lifting him up and down the 2 back steps each time he needs to go out.

He’s been whiny and uncomfortable so I arranged my down comforter on the living room floor to create a cozy place for him to rest.

Poor Miles!  He’s wearing a pain patch and taking meds for the next few days so I think he’s gonna make it.

And that Cone of Shame will only be in place until April 26th when he gets his stitches out. ;)

He is such a trooper. Can’t wait to see him up and around again.

Aww…you’re such a good dog-mom! My pup had to wear a cone for 2 weeks while she healed from a bad cut. It was misery for all of us. I say she wore A cone, but really we went through 3 in those weeks!
Glad to hear Miles is on the mend!
