Let’s say that you want breakfast, but your friend wants lunch. There seems to be an easy solution to this problem. Brunch, right? Nah… Forget the brunch option, and go out for Blunch instead.
Blunch is a cute neighborhood breakfast and sandwich shop in the South End, very close to BU Medical Center.
There’s not a lot of room inside Blunch, but luckily we weren’t there during a very crowded time. Jared and our friend Mark browsed the sandwich board while I snagged a few seats at the counter by the front window.
Hmm, what should I order? Lots of sandwiches sounded delicious and I had a tough time choosing what to eat.
Jared and Mark ordered The Bird: Sliced Chicken Breast, Fontina Cheese, Oven Roasted Tomatoes, Greens, Artichoke Aioli, Crusty Baguette.
I ordered the Giving Tree: Smoked Turkey, Cheddar Cheese, Slice apples, Honey Dijon Ailoi, Pressed on Multi Grain! Mmm, tasty. I love warm pressed sandwiches so I savored every bite.
Maybe I’ll go back to Blunch to order breakfast. Maybe I’ll go back and order lunch. Who knows?!?! I’m so glad I have both options. ![]()

I used to pass this place on my way to work every day and think, if I didn’t have to rush to an office that I would go there one day for Blunch! We should meet there when the weather is a little nicer.
