No matter how old I am, August will always make me think about going back to school. And no matter how hot it is outside or how much I don’t need anything new, August will always make me want to shop for fall clothes.

According to the Bloomingdales e-mail blast that I recently received, these are some items that will be in style this fall!
- The color red
- Leather jackets
- Corduroys
- Over-sized blouses
- Draped dresses
- Chunky sweaters
- Fur (or faux fur)
- Anoraks
- Military details
- Skinny bootcut jeans
My birthday is in September so I was always able to combine Back to School shopping with Birthday Presents. I ended up with a lot of new and, looking back now, slightly ridiculous outfits.
Have you thought about what you’re going to wear this fall?
I haven’t thought about my fall wardobe because I’ve been trying to weed out summer clothes that I haven’t worn in a few years. Time to make a donation to the Salvation Army, and to my mom’s closet! She loves my hand-me-downs. 
Then I’m going to search through the rest of my clothes and see how many items I already own from the above list. I know I have TONS of pairs of cords. Those were my go-to when I was working at my office job last year. And there’s gotta be a chunky sweater or two leftover from this past winter.

I am trying not to buy any new clothes this season – I also just completed a large purge and found some old clothes that are definitely wear-able.
Trying to save some moolah this fall!

Oh I desperately need to get rid of some clothes! Great idea!
I’m never up to date on the latest fashions haha but I do always like shopping for new clothes in the fall. Although this year, I’ve been trying to cut down on spending so that may not happen..

I love, love, LOVE the Fall and the clothes are no exception! I look forward to being able to wear cozy sweaters when it gets cool at night most of all.

Well, we are living in a teeeny apt. for a year, and between my husband and I we have one closet. No room for any new clothes for awhile.

I am not sure yet what I will wear this fall but whatever it is will NOT be in vouge according to that list.
But I do know I will have fun shopping though! =)

I always put a little money away in August to shop for new fall clothes. Even if you say you aren’t going to buy anything new, you always do.
