Ice Cream for Lunch

I had a bowl of Peanut Butter Puffins for breakfast. At first I was disappointed that I had forgotten to buy milk at the grocery store.  Until I realized I had almond milk in the back of the fridge!  Tasted the same to me and lasts a lot longer than a gallon of regular milk! [...]

Wonderful World of Color

There was lots of color in my diet today.  Absolutely necessary after yesterday’s monochromatic menu. (My post title is also a nod to Walt Disney because as of today’s count, there are 76 days until my Disney vacation!  77 days until the Wine & Dine Half Marathon!) I made of oatmeal using the last of [...]

I had a packet of Maple flavored oatmeal with Barney Butter. Bronwyn from Barney Butter took note of my love for her BB and sent some samples.  Thanks so much! [...]

Mini Vacation

Tomorrow morning I’m heading to Pennsylvania for a blues festival. The Briggs Farm Blues Festival to be exact. I’ll be spending the weekend in Nescopeck, PA.  Since we’re camping out in a lake house that doesn’t have electricity or legit plumbing, I have NO idea when I’ll be able to blog again.  Maybe Sunday evening?  [...]

Workday Dining

I can’t resist ordering food while I’m at work.  The Healthworks Cafe always has delicious specials that tempt me at mealtime. Here are some of the things I’ve ordered recently: A fruit and yogurt parfait! A turkey, cranberry, spinach, and goat cheese quesadilla! A salad with chicken and lots of vegetables! A wrap with chicken, [...]
