Kinda funny observation today. Most of my food had a bland tannish/yellowish color. Even though my eats weren’t colorful, I enjoyed a variety of flavors.

I had a packet of Maple flavored oatmeal with Barney Butter.
Bronwyn from Barney Butter took note of my love for her BB and sent some samples. Thanks so much!
Quick Facts about Barney Butter
- 100% all natural
- Peanut free (made in an almond-only facility)
- Gluten free
- No trans fats
- No hydrogenated oils
- Less saturated fat than peanut butter
- Does not need to be stirred or refrigerated
I shared my samples with my mom, dad, and Auntie Katie. Well at least I hope my aunt received her sample… My dad was supposed to bring it to her over the weekend… I forgot to ask if he remembered, or ate it himself!

I had leftover Chicken Pad Thai for lunch. Same color as breakfast, but obviously a much different flavor. Mmm!

I don’t know what made me eat such a wintery dinner in the middle of July. But I was craving chicken soup and grilled cheese so I just went for it. Mellow and yellow. And kept me warm in the air conditioning at the gym!
I had planned to work out after my shift ended at 8 pm. But I was missing my guy and my dog so I just went home instead. My workday ends earlier tomorrow so there will be plenty of time to exercise then.
And I can always do push ups and crunches in the comfort of my living room!

I ate an early dinner so I grabbed a snack when I got home from work. A small bowl of salty potato chips and a BIG glass of water. My final yellow food of the day.
“They call me Mellow Yellow…” (even though I’m not sure if I’m mad about saffron.)
(Ok, apologies for the cheesy joke
)

I’ve definitely had days where I’ve looked back and noticed my foods were all the same color, it’s amusing! All your white/yellow eats look tasty though!

I think we all have days where our food all looks the same. Your soup was a slightly different color though…!

I’ve been noticing that a lot of the food I eat is bland in color. A lot of yellow, white, brown. I need to start thinking about color variety in my diet!
