Friday was a gorgeous summer day in New England. I joined my cousin Becky for a trip to the farmers market in Providence, RI.

I love fresh vegetables!

I bought 1 pound of snap peas.

I don’t eat beets, but I thought they’d make for a pretty picture.

I tasted a rose infused cupcake. It smelled perfumey and tasted like flowers. It was so unique and delicious!

Becky and I walked to Federal Hill to have lunch.

I bet the waitress could tell that Becky and I are related: We ordered the exact same meal for lunch. We both started with a house salad.

We enjoyed sandwiches with Prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, and tomatoes and crispy french fries.

Gelato for dessert! I love ending a meal with a sweet treat.

Federal Hill is a pretty area of Providence. It’s filled with great restaurants. I can’t believe I grew up 30 minutes away and didn’t ever visit. I think I’ll make lunch plans with Becky again soon.
After my lunch digested and I relaxed around my parents’ house, I went for a 20 minute run. I wore 2 pound weights on each wrist for the first 15 minutes. I like to find a way to make a quick workout more challenging. If I’m only working out for 20 minutes, I want to make the most of it. I ended my workout with some back flips out in the yard.

When I got back to Boston, Jared and I got ready to go out for drinks at Alibi. I asked Jared to take a photo of my outfit and rolled my eyes at his photography antics.

Close up shot of my smiling face!
