Sometimes it’s great to get away for an afternoon. Monday afternoon was well spent wandering around the adorable seaside town of Rockport, MA.

I was snapping photos at every turn. Rockport is beautiful!

We wandered down Bear Skin Neck, stopping inside the shops along the narrow road.

I could shop all day in the variety of cute and quirky stores.

I’m always on the lookout for cupcakes! I wasn’t hungry so I didn’t sample, but the selection looked good!

Rockport is a classic New England town. I can’t believe I’d never visited before.

I love being by the ocean on a nice day.

Someone caught a case of Springtime Silliness.
Jared literally swept me off my feet when I asked him to pose for a photo.

I enjoyed a small dish of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream. I only found 2 chunks of cookie dough. So disappointing! The ice cream was called “Cookie Monster’s Delight” so I thought I’d find tons of doughy pieces.

Rockport is 45 minutes away from Boston, but I felt like I was thousands of miles from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Rockport is the best – so cute! Did you know that the movie The Proposal was filmed there?
And – was that cookie monster ice cream for the new, veggie loving cookie monster perhaps? Was there spinach??
