Finally, a blog post that gets back to my roots. My meals and my moves!

I’m still keeping it real…real simple and hopefully real healthy.
I had a bowl of vanilla yogurt with granola and Barney Butter to start my day.
Lunch was a bowl of soup and some snacks while I was at work. No photos today. I was busy getting things done! I even welcomed my 1st new Healthworks member. Woohoo! On my way to meeting my monthly sales goal?!?!
I ran 2 miles when my shift was over. Slow and steady pace for an easy and relaxing run. Great way to end the workday. I also used the foam roller. I’m feeling close to 100% recovered from the sciatica pain I was suffering from during my desk job. But I really want to make sure that my muscles stay stretched out so that the pain doesn’t return.

I made a sandwich for dinner.

There was also a piece of chicken hiding underneath the veggies.

I ate 2 giant slices of watermelon with my dinner sandwich.

While there are some fruits that I like to eat year round, watermelon isn’t one of them. To me, watermelon screams SUMMER TIME. Since June just started and the official 1st day of summer will be here soon, it was perfectly appropriate to eat tonight.
After dinner, I packed my bags and grabbed my corgi. Miles and I are spending the night in Blackstone because I’m going to New York City tomorrow. My brother has an interview so my mom and I are going to travel with him and then spend the day enjoying the sights.

Congrats on your first Healthworks sale, how many do you have to make to reach your target? This job sounds great for you btw, much better than a desk job anyway!

I totally agree that watermelon is strictly a summer fruit. I never eat it except during the months of June, July, and August!
