Congratulations Matt!
You made it through 4 years at Skidmore College. 4 years of classes, hard work, hockey, and fun times with your friends.
Warning: This post isn’t about food, exercise, or healthy living. It’s more of a Photo Collage to brag about my little bro and his college graduation.

I tried to make a healthy breakfast from the hotel’s free buffet. I don’t like to pack food when I travel. It’s easier to try to make wise choices with whatever is available where I’m at.
I ate Maple & Brown Sugar oatmeal with a spoonful of peanut butter and some apple slices.

One hour before the graduation ceremony was set to begin, Jared and I headed to the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) to meet the rest of my family.

SPAC is a gorgeous open air theater. It’s surrounded by lots of open grassy areas and brick buildings. The New York City Ballet and Philadelphia Orchestra perform here during the summer.

My graduation outfit! I loved the big collar on my navy blue dress, plus the fact that it had pockets for chapstick and other small items. And my red heels were surprisingly comfortable!

Spotted my brother’s name listed on the the candidates for a Bachelor of Science degree.

30 minutes into the graduation ceremony, I decided it was time to get Miles out of the car. My cousin Jenna and I brought him onto the SPAC grounds and took him for a walk.

Jenna and I loved the scenery. (And we snuck over to where they were setting up for an afternoon wedding so we could check out the decorations!)

Miles loved rolling in the lush green grass.

After our walking tour, we wandered back to the ceremony area and sat on the hill while watching the graduation.

Once he spotted the family, Matt was all smiles.

Post graduation ceremony, we wandered around SPAC to take pictures.

So crowded! It was a challenge trying to find my brother in the crowd of graduates and families.

Jared and Miles were well behaved. They waited patiently. Good boys!

All smiles for lots of photos, enjoying the great weather.

Congrats to Matt…and to Mom and Dad for making it through 4 years of college along with him. They traveled to Saratoga SO many times to watch his college hockey games.

Pepere and Memere with the new college graduation.

Uncle Jon and Auntie Carol were proud of Matt too.

Jenna and Kyle posing with Matt in his cap and gown.

I love Saratoga! Even though Matt is finished at Skidmore, I want to come back and spend a weekend. It’s such a pretty area!

Keep dreaming, Miles.
Miles practiced for Obedience School graduation.
Skidmore’s 2010 graduation ceremony was wonderful. I enjoyed the speakers and I’m so proud of my brother. We had more celebrating planned post-ceremony, at a special restaurant that the graduate selected for us.

Yay for your bro! I don’t like to pack food when I travel either. Too much work and something decent can almost always be found.
LOVE the dress!
