My point and shoot camera appears to be dead. So the following photos are all via Jared’s i-phone. Let’s hope my camera is just suffering from a case of “No Batteries” and I can fix things. Otherwise I need to save my pennies for a new one.

Jared and I grabbed dinner at Stephi’s on Tremont last night, quick and easy cuz we practically live next door.

I had a glass of Gruner Veltliner because Meghan had given it a thumb’s up during her meal at Stephi’s.

I ordered the vegetable salad with blackened chicken. The chicken was a little spicy for me, but the seasoning did work well with the lemon dressing. More fun than eating plain old grilled chicken on a salad.
After dinner, we hopped in a cab and headed to the Paradise for Chad Perrone’s concert.
FAIL.
$16 later, I realized I left my wallet at home. Luckily it was 8 pm and Chad wasn’t set to go on stage until 11 pm. We took the T home, grabbed the wallet from the purse I had been carrying earlier in the day, and took the T back to the Paradise. Seriously the Incredible Journey.

But it was all worth it once Chad Perrone took the stage.
Chad is a singer/songer writer from Haverhill, MA. I loved his style back when he was the front man for the band Averi. I sort of lost touch when he became a solo artist, but now the flame has been rekindled.

The concert was a celebration of Chad’s new CD “Release.” He played a good mix of old and new stuff. I was in heaven!

I just added Chad to my list of pseudo-celebrity exceptions.
Jared was less than thrilled, but still enjoyed the concert.

Rockin’ out! Check out Chad’s web page or listen to some song samples on i-tunes. I’ve already downloaded “Wake” and “Release.” Amazing songs on both CDs!

Kim aka Mom… I didn’t forget the tickets. I forgot my wallet in the purse that matched my afternoon outfit…different from the bag I carried to the concert. So I went home to get my ID. Needed to prove I was over 21 so I could have a glass of wine.
Pay attention to the blog!

I can’t believe you made that dreaded journey on the T twice. Your dinner and concert look like so much fun!!!

Oh no I can’t believe you had to make the trek back home to get your wallet. At least you still got to see the concert though, I’m glad you enjoyed it.

At least you had time to head home and get your wallet and didn’t have to miss anything. I have never heard of him, but that is cool you got a chance to enjoy the concert.

So glad you had a good night – minus the missing wallet. I’ve done that a lot.
Looking forward to listening to your new exception’s music.
