Run Club

I was too tired and sore to join Jared and friends at the SEAC’s Thursday Night Run Club.  But I still wanted to check out the workout in preparation for next week’s meetup.

So while everyone else did hills, sprints, and other drills, I took the dog on a photography tour around the Gardens and the Boston Common.

Embarrassing dog

He’s SO embarrassing.  Miles will stop, drop, and roll multiple times during a walk.  Pretty much whenever he finds a smelly spot on the ground.

It took Miles and me a while to make it there.  But eventually we found the SEAC Run Club at the Common.  Run Jared run!

Runners in action!

I can’t wait to join in next week.  I really need this type of workout so I can improve my speed.  Sprinting on the treadmill just doesn’t cut it.  The guys at the SEAC ran track for Boston College so they’re great resources for running tips and information.

SEAC Run Club

Miles wanted to join the group SO bad.  When the group jogged back to the SEAC store on Tremont Street, I finally let him.  My fat little corgi ran at least 3/4 of a mile without stopping.  I’ve seen him run quick sprints and he loves to run in circles, pretending to herd something, but this was the most distance he’s ever covered in one shot.  Go Miles!  You can bet I was  proud Dog Mother.

Spending freeze

While we prepped dinner, Jared insisted I photograph the literal freeze on my credit cards.  Both of us are working hard to increase our savings and reduce our debt.

Taco Salad

Taco Salad!  Spinach, cheddar cheese, cucumbers, carrots, ground beef, salsa, and Ranch dressing.

Raspberry Sorbet

Raspberry sorbet for dessert.

What a beautiful evening it was for a walk yesterday. Miles is so funny! He looks like the happiest dog ever!

Looks like a great running group. I should find one too. It would be fun to run with other people.

That is so funny… I heard the tip to literally freeze your credit cards when I was in college… and each time I pull it out to use it I think to myself “I really should freeze this…” is it working for you?

Gorgeous! I love the flower photos. And Miles is too cute.

I really need to freeze my whole purse and just not spend anymore money ever. Is that possible?

That’s such a good idea! I just found out about a Running group in Pittsburgh. I might join them, but to be honest I am scared! I’m so slow!

Oh my god, Miles. Too GD cute roling around on the ground. I love it.
Push the cards in the way back of the freezer so you don’t have to look at them whenever you open it.

Absolutely love the pict of Miles rolling on his back. Oh so Miles. And the fact that he ran a 3/4 of a mile. Always thought that little guy was too fat. Good luck with the cc.

Miles is too cute! Trooper does that exact same thing to me all the time. Unfortunately Trooper has been known to stop, drop, and roll in poop! Got to love dogs!

OMG you’ve actually frozen your credit cards!!! I think the girl in Confessions of a Shopaholic did this for about a day and then cracked the ice open with a stiletto! I wish you so much luck is saving. I know how hard it is!
