My Sunday morning started off slow. I nibbled on apple banana bread then ate some Pineapple Chobani. I lounged around until noon and then had to move it to get ready for my day out and about.
Julie came to Boston to grab lunch!

We walked a couple of blocks from my apartment to sit outside at PICCO. Julie suggested it earlier this week, and living nearby and loving PICCO’s food, I didn’t object. I ordered a glass of Rose Malbec.

I ordered a small Margarita pizza for lunch. Mmm! So good! I’d been looking forward to this pizza all weekend.
While at PICCO, Julie and I were joined by Jared, Matt, Natalie, and Chris. It was a great day to sit outside, enjoy wine, and share conversation.

Matt helped out by doing some yard work. Pyromaniac, he burnt our Christmas tree.

Chris and Miles watching the flames.
It didn’t take long for everyone to digest his or her pizza. We were ready for dessert.

My handsome corgi joined the group to walk to Red Mango for frozen yogurt.

I was excited to introduce everyone to my new favorite frozen yogurt spot. Here’s Julie trying to decide what to order.

My small serving of POM frozen yogurt with fruity pebbles and strawberries.
Jared and I FINALLY went grocery shopping. We’re going to have groceries delivered using PeaPod next time we need food, but the weather was so nice today that we didn’t mind walking to the store.
My grocery shopping included pomegranate Chobani (first time ever finding this flavor at the store), spinach, frozen broccoli, Arnold Thins, wheat bread, 2 boxes of fun shaped pasta, 2 jars of pasta sauce, milk, cereal, bananas, lemon, sparkling water, chicken, lean ground beef, taco kit, orange popsicles… And a few other essentials!

I enjoyed some macaroni and cheese for a light dinner. After so many good eats and treats throughout the afternoon, I wasn’t very hungry.

Not gonna lie, the highlight of my day was receiving this gift from Julie. I can’t wait for breakfast tomorrow morning!

That pizza looks really good! Although the fruity pebbles topping not so much. That is one cereal I HATE! Blasphemy since I am such a cereal fan.
