Easter Brunch

My Easter Basket

Happy Easter!

The Easter Bunny paid a visit to my house and left a basket full of groceries.  Good thing cuz I needed them!

Fresh Strawberries

A little after 9 am, my family started rolling over to celebrate Easter Brunch.

Monkey Bread

Auntie Pam’s Monkey Bread.

Blueberry Muffins

Mom’s Blueberry Muffins.

Becky and Me

Becky and me, hanging out for the 2nd day in a row.

When we were younger, we used to say we were “best cousins.”  We couldn’t be best friends because we were cousins.  So “best cousins” it was.  We were also partners in crime (painting the clubhouse, catching a bird) and penpals.  I’m so glad we’ve become running partners now too!

Didn’t get the memo to wear heels so I look like a shrimp.  Beck, you gotta keep me in the loop here.

Mimosa and coffee

Mimosa and a cup of coffee.

Sleepy Jenna

Some were a little sleepy after such a delicious meal.

Dogs at the Back Door

The dogs weren’t invited to brunch.

Daffodils

Mini-Daffodils in the front yard.

My House

My Home Sweet Home!

After everyone left, Jared and I got ready to enjoy a special Easter celebration.  We decided to spend the day touring the mansions in Newport, RI.

Your day looks wonderful! Is that a collie I see in the picture, maybe a sheltie? I grew up with collies, such wonderful dogs!
