I was at a conference all day today so my photography was limited. I did manage a quick picture of my breakfast: strawberry Stonyfield yogurt, pineapples, a corn muffin, and a glass of orange juice.
I didn’t get a shot of lunch. Bread, salad, some kind of chicken dish…typical conference fair and not overly tasty.

I had a break after lunch so I treated myself to an Iced Chai Latte.

I wore comfortable conference attire and made sure to dress warmly because ballrooms are always heavily air conditioned. I wore boots, jeans, a floral print blouse, and a cable knit sweater, and was still slightly chilly inside!

On my walk home from the conference, I spotted some Knitting Graffiti.

Some gangster knitters have knit colorful creations on random poles throughout Boston. I’ve seen a few before, but never thought to take a picture.

I loved the 3-D dogs. So cute!

Jared had been asking me to make tofu and pasta so tonight I gave in. Since I didn’t have cubed tofu, I crumbled a block of Extra Firm Tofu and mixed it with tomato sauce, my own blend of spices, and some spinach.

Dinner is served!

Dessert! A spoonful of my new Raspberry White Chocolate peanut butter.
I guess I’m not the only one who is literally PB Loco.

Jared shared some of his ice cream with me. Dulce de Leche, yum! And Miles continued to be a pain and beg for food.
I owe that dog a long walk. His string of bad behavior proved that he had too much pent up energy. He got in trouble several times. But it’s sort of my fault since I devoted my late afternoon/evening to scrubbing the shower and didn’t exercise him enough. He’ll get his walk tomorrow. I’m exhausted, and who cares about my Demon Dog when my shower looks 1,000 times better!

Before putting my pajamas on, I had to model my latest fashion finds. Well, more importantly, I had to make sure things fit because I was too lazy to try stuff on. I walked to H&M during my break this afternoon and found some fun items at great prices.
No, the photo is not in black & white! But clearly that was the theme of my shopping trip. A black and white striped blazer with gold Nautical buttons, a black dress w/ white polka dots, and a black and white striped t-shirt.
Shopping at H&M can be a lot of work. Sometimes I feel like I really need to dig through the random items for sale before I find something that is in style and will hold up for more than 1 washing. Good thing I’m always up for a fashion challenge.

OK that knitting graffiti is awesome! How did they get it up there? Well, I guess I could figure that out but still so cool!
Ahh H&M, totally agree with you. Man I love finding a good deal there – especially their jackets and blazers. Super jealous of your finds. Always the fashionista this one

I feel the same way about H&M. It’s always worth digging through everything, but sometimes I just don’t have the energy. I love that blazer! Rock it with some red heels!

I hadn’t heard about the knitting graffiti in Boston. That’s so funny!
Great finds at H&M. Can’t go wrong with black and white.

H&M is definitely not for the faint of heart. I always see people with the cutest stuff from there and then I search high and low and can never find anything! Great shopping trip!

I love that blazer!! I feel the same way about H&M, but I don’t have the patience to look through everything. I give up if I can’t find anything within the first 10 minutes of stepping foot in the store. And when I do find an outfit (by looking a a mannequin and copying their look)I can never find the pieces! Oh the frustration is unbareable sometimes.
Be careful walking around Boston with a knitting gang on the loose!! They might crochet you a capelet and matching beret and make you wear them!
lol – I could almost heard you laughing at my post as I was writing it. I almost gave you a shoutout after one of the lines. Hilarious.

Great find and post on the knit graffiti. Will have to look for some next time. What was the neighbor hood like. Are you taking Becky to H&M when you go shopping?

I LOVE that knitting graffiti! That is so cool! I wonder who has the time to do that..and where did they come up with the idea?!
When I go clothes shopping, I don’t try anything on either.. I really hate dressing rooms. I’d rather return them later!

Knitting graffiti might be the coolest thing ever.
I love that you thought ahead for the temp at the conference. I’m usually the doof that shows up in a sleeveless top and freezes my ass off all day.
Love your fashion finds. It’s been sooo long since I’ve shopped. I’m having withdrawals.

I just made a trip to H&M this past weekend! And yes, it’s one of those places that is totally hit or miss AND I always have to try stuff on – their sizing can be so off! But I love when I come away with some great finds. (I love that blazer!)

I love the knitting graffiti. That is so cute. I always dress warm for conferences too because you are right, those rooms are like igloos.
