I’ve been in a meeting all day. It’s raining cats and dogs. Half of the city is underwater. My basement flooded again. I desperately need to go grocery shopping. Not a fun time to be in Boston.

At least I made a delicious double batch of oats for breakfast this morning. Jared and I shared today’s batch made with:
- 2 cups of water
- 1 cup of oatmeal
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 2 cups of frozen berries
- 2 tablespoons of Justin’s Maple Almond Butter
Yum! This is my favorite oatmeal combination!
No photo of my pizza and salad at lunch because I ate mid-meeting. I also enjoyed a cup of tea and a little bag of fruit snacks.
I hope you’re having a better (and sunnier) Tuesday!

Bleh bleh bleh! This weather is horrendous! I went to Healthworks at lunch and came back looking like I showered with my clothes on.
Your oatmeal looks yummy and comforting though, perfect for the day!

Hope your evening is better than your day! The weather is actually 75 and sunny here in Houston, unfortunately I haven’t been outside since 730 this morning and am stuck in class until 7:15.
Your oats look delicious!

Okay, that oatmeal looks DELISH. And now I have a ridiculous question: Do you put them in the oatmeal frozen, and then microwave it all together? I need to replicate that! I also need to find Justin’s nut butters.

I LOVE the gorgeous color of those oats. I’ve never thought to add frozen berries to oatmeal…clearly I need to get on that!
