Dave was the same way before he proposed. He wanted it to be a surprise, although it already agreed that we were heading toward marriage. Boy am I glad I left it alone, because when he came through, he did a great job. I'm biased, but I think his proposal was one of the most creative and heartfelt. It sure is hard being patient though! I'm pursuing a job change while working full-time. It's going to take longer, but paying my rent, putting money into my retirement and savings while going to school is worth the extra workload in the long run.
