I ordered grilled cheese and tomato soup from Finagle-a-Bagel. I normally love this, but today my stomach wasn’t feeling it. It made the end of my work day slightly unpleasant.
I didn’t go to the gym because I have plans to run on Saturday and Sunday. Sunday is actually a 5K race!

Jared and I opted for a lazy night in. We ordered Thai and I went with my usual order of chicken Pad Thai.

We also split a bottle of Lost Angel wine. It’s a 2006 “Mischief” red wine. Jared chose this bottle because it has a story about a fallen angel on the back label. Choosing wine based on pictures can be a be idea (ie: the Sauvin-Youk-blanc named for a player on the Red Sox). But this wine actually turned out to be pretty good! It had a great nose: berries and hints of vanilla and cloves. I love the smooth, silky finish; that’s something I always request when choosing reds.
It’s now 9 am on Saturday and raining. I’m anxious to hit the pavement for our 5 mile run. But I have to wait another hour until the tux shop opens so we can combine an errand with our wet run. Jared’s getting measured for his brother’s wedding and then we’ll head from Boylston Street to the Charles river for our run.

Good luck with your run!
I love lazy evenings in – I think tonight will be one for us.
Love combining errands…or runs with stops in a tux shop!

I used to by the WORST wine based on the label! But I had this Riesling that I picked for the little ninja girl on the front, and it was awesome! Sometimes it pays off to judge by the label.

Nights out with takeout are the best. I love just curling up on the couch!

I only choose wines based on the picture. I tear the labels off and stick them on the fridge. It hasn’t failed me yet!

I hate when I am not feeling well and then I don’t enjoy my usually fave foods. It gets kinda ruined. Grilled cheese and tomato soup is a great combo though.
