Carrots and Cheese

Morning snack of baby carrots and Laughing Cow cheese.  Ok, so I ate half of the carrots before I even took the picture.  I was hungry!

My mom met me at the gym so she got to play photographer and take a picture of today’s outfit.  Looks so boring!  Haha.  But in person, the glass bead necklace is multicolored and has little flecks of green to go with my green heels and I’m also wearing 2 gold bracelets.  These are my 3rd pair of heels from Zara, and the 3rd pair to be comfortable.  Zara’s shoes are affordable and don’t hurt my feet!

Another great Body Pump workout.  Julie is an awesome instructor, but I don’t normally talk with her after class.  Today she had some time so she was chitchatting with my mom and me.  Are we coworkers?  No, mother and daughter!  Am I a runner?  Well, sort of.  I run races and put minimal effort towards training.  :P

Julie gave me some good running tips.  Especially that I should back off on weight during the squat and lunge tracks as my Half Marathon gets closer.  Since I’ll be logging in more and more miles, I don’t want my legs to get too tired.  She also recommended looking up exactly what types of cross training  are best for runners and doing more research about getting serious with my running.  Apparently I have a runner’s build!

My mom treated me to lunch, as she’s been doing every Thursday for the past month, so I enjoyed a panini with pesto, fresh mozzarella, spinach, and tomatoes.  So good!

I had a cup of tea at 3:30 to hold off the afternoon hunger.  But by 4:15 my stomach was growling.  I had to search of office for food!

And take you guys on a photo tour of my workspace as well. :o

I have lots of decorations.  On a regular basis, people stop in to take a peek at everything that’s going on.  It might be cluttered, but it’s filled with items that make me smile.  Especially Wall-E and Stitch dressed as Yoda.  Oh yeah, and that photo of Miles in a bathtub too!  I got professional photos taken when he was 6 months old.  Such a great idea because the pictures are awesome and I gave wallet sized photos to friends and family.

Office

Thank God I made it to my file cabinet without passing out from hunger.  That’s where the good stuff is hidden.

What a life saver!  I snacked on a Bear Naked bar and some unpictured Easter chocolates.

I think I’m feeling good to go.  I’m running 3.5 miles when I get home from work.  I’m going to run from my apartment in the South End to Coolidge Corner in Brookline to try out a new frozen yogurt place.  Plus I’m meeting some fellow bloggers.  Yay!

I knew bear naked had granola, but not bars! I must get my hands on one.
