I loved having lots of fresh fruit leftover from dessert yesterday. I added blueberries and strawberries to an otherwise boring bowl of cereal.

Plus ate more fruit when I got to work.

I made a salad with the only leftover piece of BBQ chicken from yesterday’s lunch. Plus I used greens, carrots, red peppers, grape tomatoes, and baby carrots. And for the first time in a while, I didn’t overdo it with the salad dressing!

I spread Laughing Cow cheese on a leftover corn bread muffin. Corn bread can be really dry so the creamy cheese was a great topping.
I hit the gym and chose to run 2 miles for speed. I remembered my plan to run a bit faster so this time I completed my miles at 7.5 mph. Yay for 8 minute miles! I was breathing heavy and had to push myself to make it through. I think I’ll stick with this pace for a little while until I get more comfortable. I had enough time to use the foam roller and then sit in the sauna for 5 minutes before getting ready to go back to the office.

Late afternoon snack. I get so hungry during the last 2 hours of my workday. A snack is essential!

I made a black bean burger for dinner and topped with with shredded cheese and pieces of celery. I didn’t end up liking the celery on the sandwich so I took it off and replaced it with some of the cucumbers I was eating on the side.

Someone had to eat the last piece of pound cake. I topped with with mixed berries and FROZEN Cool Whip.

So my Ask Me Anything post wasn’t very successful.
Q: Do you really think you’re “fashionable”? Half the clothes you wear make you look like a grandmother or a little girl. It’s very odd…
A: Bahahaha! I like clothes, I like to read fashion magazines. So I do have knowledge of fashion and style. But do I always dress my best? Hell no! I’m really lazy, I hate to iron, and I like to be comfortable. Most of the photos of my outfits are what I wear to work. So while I prefer to be called a librarian rather than a grandma, I know I don’t look amazing. It’s just fun to share what I wore w/ everyone who reads my blog. I’m not expecting everyone to love everything…though I do get compliments and I always appreciate them!
Okkk, I’m off to watch Food Inc. (finally!!!) and gather my thought to write about my 5 days as a vegetarian. Oh and I might just have to see who Jake gives his final rose too. Gotta stay on top of the important news…

I love berries. I just bought strawberries today. I can’t wait to eat them.
I’m laughing at that question because I’m very interested in fashion and can look at a dress and know exactly who designed and can put together outfits for other people, but I dress like sh*t everyday for work. I think you look lovely!

I definitely don’t think you look like a grandma going to work! I always wore suits to work and “saved” my really cute outfits for when I was out and about having fun, but I think my suits were still semi-cute for the workplace. You can only look SO fashionable for work! I think you do a great job:)

You are speedy! Great run!
I can’t believe that question. Looks like a criticism wrapped up in a question. Rude! I think you look great. If that person could only see what I wear every day!

You handled that question really well! I would’ve been upset/mad about it for hours I’m sure…(way too overemotional

I like that outfit – especially the sweater.
I’m just always impressed that you can take pictures in the Healthworks locker room. Are you always on your own or do you just tell people what you’re doing? I think I must be there at a much more crowded time…
BTW, I love that you’ve jumped on the laughing cow train.

Jeez! I know that you put yourself out there to answering any questions, but how rude! It’s not called “Criticize me and then ask my why I do something…”. I am so mad! As someone who wears WAY too many bright colors at once, I envy your small pops of color and great choices for basics! I love the outfits you put together. I am so mad! But you are not, you took the question with so much grace.
