If It’s Free, It’s For Me

I used my leftover stir fry in a lunchtime salad.  I also added frozen corn when I put the salad together.  By the time I ate, it was perfectly thawed.

I also crumbled some tortilla chips and added them to the salad to give it some crunch.

I hit the gym for a 2 mile speed run.  I ran both miles at 7.2 mph.  Much more comfortable with socks and much more fun listening to my cardio playlist.

If it’s free, it’s for me!  I couldn’t resist grabbing a smoothie sample as I left HealthWorks.

I had a Bear Naked granola bar around 4 pm because I planned on going to the 5:15 pm spin class.

I grabbed a different smoothie sample when I went back to the gym.  Repeating my mantra:  If it’s free, it’s for me.  ;)

Spin was awesome.  Different instructor than last time, loved taking class with Toni!  She had an amazing playlist featuring Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, and Pink.  I was rockin out and smiling through the hard work for the entire 45 minutes.

I was too tired and hungry to really care about dinner.  I made a chicken sandwich and munched on Pop Chips on the side.  I’m really becoming a fan of Pop Chips and I’m sad that I only have 1 sample bag left.  I guess I’ll have to add them to my grocery shopping list.

For dessert, I’m slowly munching on a green apple topped with Cinnamon Raisin Swirl peanut butter.  Maybe I should eat a little faster so Miles will relax.  Cuz I’m not sharing!

“If it’s free, it’s for me” is definitely my motto too. Unfortunately that can lead to a lot of junk and clutter for me!

I still haven’t tried Popchips. My shopping problem is spilling over to the grocery store now and the list is getting longer every week!

I absolutely LOVE my spin instructors playlist too! She always gets me amped through her classes! I probably only attend her classes for the playlist alone! j/k, she’s really an awesome instructor! I’m also glad you didn’t have that “meanie” instructor from before. Experiences like that are enough for me to write off spin class forever! But its awesome you didn’t let it get you down!!
    Have a great day! =)

I love apples and nut butter! And such a good mantra- free samples are always good, unless they’re the kind of thing everyone has put their hands all over. Gross!

I love frozen corn in salads! There’s just SOMEthing about it!! Popchips are yummy, although I must say I only like the original, Sour Cream and the BBQ…the salt and pepper & vinegar ones don’t agree much with my tastebuds!:)

    I love your mantra;)

I’m a big fan of the Pop Chips too – especially the salt and vinegar. They used to be my favorite kind of chips when I was a kid and they remind me of home! :)

    Happy Thursday!

I think one of the best things about Spinning is the playlists haha. I’m glad to hear Toni is good though cuz I was just looking at her Body Pump class and reading her bio haha.

No more Pop Chips for me! I bought the salt & vinegar (my favorite) a couple of weeks ago and promptly hoovered up the entire bag that same afternoon. -sigh-

Who doesn’t like free stuff!? Were they good?
