Last night’s mariachi music was fabulous. So much fun and made our time in Mexico seem more authentic.
This morning we spent an hour by the beach. It was much warmer and less windy today so I actually needed to cool off in the ocean. I wish I was able to spend more time in the pool and salt water during the vacation, but each time I tried, I was too cold. Ohh well, that’s what summertime is for!
By noon, we cabbed down the street and checked into the Riu Caribe for the night. Not as nice at the Riu Palace, but we do have an ocean view.
Jared and I spent the afternoon exploring our new hotel. I attempted to take some unique pictures while sporting my HealthWorks t-shirt. Also feeling pretty zen right now. 
We don’t have any plans for Valentine’s Day. The whole trip has been a romantic celebration. I want to do a Core Fusion pilates DVD and then shower before going to the dinner buffet. I’m also going to start reading The Time Traveler’s Wife.
*I’d like to say a prayer for friends and family back home who are attending a memorial service for our friend who tragically passed away last week. Even though I’m far away, my heart is with everyone in New England.*
