I slathered an Arnold Thin with cream cheese and cranberry apple butter. I tend to overdo toppings, but whatev… this was a tasty breakfast.

Jared always saves our leftover coffee so I can enjoy an iced version the next day. I think I like ice coffee more than hot coffee!

I’d like to call this look, “Melissa crawls back in bed after showering so she can sleep for another 10 minutes and then has to wear whatever she can find while scrambling to get ready for work.”
I wasn’t going to wear the cardigan (wanted to wear a fun statement necklace), but I got makeup on my shirt. I used Tim Gunn’s motto and decided to “make it work.” Rather than changing, I just covered up the spot with another layer of clothing and I’ll deal with it later.

I made a lunchtime salad using some of the leftover tortellini, mixed greens, frozen corn, and a sprinkling of cheddar cheese. Delicious and filling, but I wish I had squished more greens into the container. I’ve been known to declare, “I’m craving lettuce!”
I’m pleasantly sore from yesterday’s Body Pump class. So I’m skipping my workout and going shopping because Jared’s birthday is on Sunday. I hope I can find lots of surprises for the birthday boy.
I’m planning to do an OnDemand yoga workout when I get home from work. We’ll see if that plan holds up when I walk in the door and the couch starts calling my name!

Listen you, I can’t sleep in the bath tub. It will be too cold my my naked legs. I sleep with no pants on, remember?!
Happy birthday to Jared on Sunday! Doing anything fun and exciting?!

Happy Birthday to Jared! Also, maybe I am asking a really obvious question, what exactly is an Arnold Thin??

An arnold thin is like a very thin, whole wheat english muffin. So good! I just used one to make a buffalo burger last night. They are the perfect thing when you want a sandwich, but don’t want to be overwhelmed by bread.

I love the On Demand yoga workouts!! They really get me sweating, especially when I crank the heat
I ironically had iced coffee today for the first time in a long time, how weird. I put my leftovers in the fridge, then added ice, soy milk, and Truvia. It was perfect!
Have fun celebrating with the birthday boy on Sunday!

Yay for post-workout soreness! I happen to love it! People think I’m crazy, but I just smile b/c a “left out” body part (from my normal routine) has just gotten worked out or maxed out:) Good luck shopping!!! Enjoy
Love birthdays!

I hope you found some good presents this afternoon. Which yoga on demand do you do? I love Yoga Sculpt, but I’m wondering if there are any other good ones out there.

Happy birthday to Jared! Your outfit is actually still super cute…when I roll out of bed late, it’s a jeans and sweatshirt day for me! Have a great weekend!
