Just another day for Jared and me in paradise… 
Jared and I ran for 25 minutes. Not bad for his 1st Half Marathon training run and the fact that he really needs new sneakers. We ran 15 minutes away from the hotel, turned around, and should’ve run 15 minutes back. But I guess we were anxious for lunch because we made it back in 10 minutes.
I went overboard eating chips and guacamole and paid the price. 
After a bit of R&R and about 30 minutes of stomach pain, everything was A-ok.
Jared and I wandered next door to check out the Riu Cancun and then browsed at the Mexican Outlet which sells any type of Mexican craft you could want. Except the “Dia de Los Muertos” items we were looking for. I’m glad we saw some great mariachi skeletons at the airport. Definite purchase just before we fly home!
It’s only February 13th, but Love is already in the air.
After my Espresso martini and a costume change, it will be time for dinner.
Still no word on whether we can stay here for our final night or move down the street to the Riu Caribe. Oh the drama of life when you’re on vacation.
I miss reading blogs, tweeting, Miles, and Boston in general. I’m SO thankful for this WARM and relaxing getaway, but it will be nice to return home on Monday night.

Great run! Chips and guacamole are so good – so easy to overdo too.

I definitely have the same problem when faced with chips, salsa, and guac! Looks like you’re having a great time – savor every minute!

Still having a good time in the cold and snow. Crossing my paws that you get to stay in the same room that you have had since you arrived there. I haven’t left my room either.
