After driving to the CVS in Chestnut Hill, we decided to grab lunch at Star Market. And so begins the story of the worst sandwich ever.
I ordered a tomato and mozzarella sandwich, grilled on a baguette. First of all, they were out of baguettes so I made the unwise the decision to get it on a wrap. Luckily I was paying attention because my sandwich was almost made with slices of American cheese rather than fresh mozzarella. After grabbing the bucket of mozzarella, the deli guy threw a hunk on the counter…and I watched in horror as my wrap was soaked in mozzarella juice. There was more difficulty in making the sandwich and I noticed the deli guy was touching everything with his gloved hands that were supposed to keep my sandwich safe from germs. He leaned against a pole, fixed his shirt, grabbed buckets and opened cabinet doors. I should’ve just told him to forget it, but I let him grill it and then paid for the meal. When I took a bite of the wrap, balsamic dressing started dripping everywhere. It made a huge mess and soaked through the wrap so each bite was soggy. Despite the dressing, the sandwich wasn’t even very flavorful. Ugh…
Dramatic story but please learn from me and say no when you start to realize that your sandwich is not going to be as good as you imagined. At least I had a bowl of Tuscan Vegetable soup to make up for it!

After running errands, we watched the latest Harry Potter and snacked on microwave popcorn.

Since I’ve been too lazy to go grocery shopping (there’s always tomorrow), we ordered-in. I got a chicken quesadilla and ate 2 out of the pieces. Mmm, great leftovers for lunch tomorrow!
Even though it’s after 10 pm, I’ve feeling a little stir crazy. I might do a 10 minute ab workout to burn off some extra energy before getting ready for bed. I’m actually looking forward to going back to work on Monday so I can get back in my workout routine. Oh how I’ve missed sitting in the sauna!

Sorry about the crappy sandwich!
Popcorn and a movie is a great way to spend an evening – especially after the crazy holidays.
Enjoy your Sunday!

Gross. You should’ve just walked away.
I’m looking forward to getting back to my normal routine as well–except for work. I really don’t want to go to work!

Yuck! I hate soggy sandwiches. Soggy and germy would be even worse!
I miss the sauna since leaving my old gym. It was a relaxing end to a workout.
