Here’s why today was CRAPPY:
- Stayed home sick with a head cold that doesn’t seem to be getting better. Gross!
- Missed a delivery from UPS because they didn’t bother to buzz my apartment.
- Chipped my front tooth when I bit my fork while eating salad. Wahhh!
Here’s why today just got a little bit better:
Lisa awarded me the Beautiful Blogger Award. I’m supposed to tell you 7 random facts about me, and then pass the award on to 7 bloggers I love. Lisa had some awesome random facts that I don’t think I’ll be able to top. Love the Slam Dunking Santa photos!

1. When I was little, I wanted to be Japanese. I wore a kimono and carried a panda stuffed animal. No one had the heart to tell me that pandas live in China.
2. While learning my double full basket toss as a college cheerleader, I sent multiple guys to the hospital for stitches and/or concussions.

(I’m on the right)
3. I really should be a wedding planner. I’ve had an account on theknot.com since I was in high school.
4. While working at Disney, I went to face character auditions, but was rejected cuz I don’t resemble any Disney princesses.
5. I would love to build a doll house and decorate each room with lots of little details and even carpet, wallpaper and curtains!
6. I want to run the Disney Wine and Dine Half Marathon this October. It’s a night race with an after party at Epcot!
7. I’m really starting to miss cheerleading. I do cheers and dances around the house…but what I really want to do is stunt and tumble!!!

I would like to pass on the Beautiful Blogger award to:
- Jenna from Savor and Stretch
- Erin from Big Girl Eats
- Chocolate Pickle Eats
- Shannon from Lessons to Learn
- Lauren from Eater Not a Runner who is also recovering from a cold!
- Natalie
- My fellow New England blog girls (even though I know they’ve already received this award): Julie and Melissa

I miss cheerleading, too! So much so, that I coached for the past 3 years. I wasn’t having fun dealing with parents tho, so I gave it up.

I’ve had an account on theknot.com since my senior year in HS! Ha. Everyone makes fun of me, but I am OBSESSED with weddings. I can’t wait to plan my own!

So I’m not the only one who has had a KNOT account since high school. I didn’t realize it until they changed formats and now there it is in black and white for all to see (MEMBER SINCE 3-19-99).

awwww! Thanks! You can come over and tumble in my yard if you want.
I don’t even know what The Knot is. Am I a poor excuse for a lady? If I get married, you can call the court house for me and help me pick my dress from JCrew. Deal?
I hope you get better soon and your tooth is feeling okay. Things can only get better from here!

I miss cheerleading too, but not the injuries! I was always a single base or a side or back base so I got kicked in the face, landed on, punched, scratched, everything! There is no rush like competing at Nationals in front of haundreds of people, it was the best. I played soccer in college and I miss soccer but I miss the girls and the friendships more…its hard growing up! Thanks for sharing your list though
It seems like all my favorite bloggers are getting the beautiful blogger award!
