Sleepy Saturday

Even after so many hours of sleep, I wanted a nice cup of coffee to help me get going.

I cleaned the apartment.  Then I did a 10 minute facial.  And what a better way to wait 10 minutes for the mask to dry than by doing a Core Fusion workout.  I did glutes again and it was just as hard as the first time I tried it.  Feel the burn!

I snacked on an apple, watched TV, and dozed for a little bit.

Jared bought lunch from Francesca’s and I opted for a chicken salad wrap.  Very tasty, but so filling that I couldn’t eat the whole thing.

I did another 10 minutes of Core Fusion, choosing the upper body workout this time.  When I saw that the man was using 5 lb weights and so was I, I knew I was going to be in trouble.  I dropped the weights halfway through the 10 minute session and used my own body as resistance.  Wow, still got a great upper body workout.  I think the beginning triceps exercises were the hardest.

It’s great when you can get a decent workout in the comfort of your own living room!  Plus working out 10 minutes at a time is great when you’re recovering from a cold.  I was able to stop before my body freaked out on me, grab a tissue, and relax…then do some more!  :)

Jared and I are going to visit our friends Matt and Natalie for drinks at their new house in South Boston and then going out for Mexican food.  I’m really excited to see their new place.  Wonder how long it will be before I have a home to decorate…

Probably years!  ;)

I’m sorry you’ve been feeling so lousy. But it looks like a relaxing Saturday to help you heal.

I am excited to have a home of my own to decorate. We are going to start looking this spring and I can’t wait!

    Feel better!

Those workouts are both killers – I thought the same thing when I tried to do the arm workout with a 5 lb weight – and saw he was using 5lbs…I just rested. A lot.

    Sleep well tonight!

    I love Core Fusion.
I don’t want a home to decorate. I figure after property taxes, fixing crap that breaks, and paying all the utility bills and mortgage, I’ll only be able to be able to afford to decorate it with watercolor paintings I do on napkins. Could start a new trend though…
    Have fun at dinner!
