Matt and Natalie have a gorgeous new home in South Boston! We spent some time there having appetizers and drinks with friends before our large group headed down the street to Salsa’s.

We all chowed down on chips, salsa, and guac. So good, and pretty spicy too!

I ordered chicken quesadillas, but was so full from the chips that I could only finish two.
It’s great to have a low key night hanging out with friends. Lots of drinks, conversation, and laughs.
Thanks to Matt’s coffee and Bailey’s, Jared and I watched some of the Miss America pageant at 2 am. I woke up at 9 and scarfed down a bowl of Special K.

I had a morning massage scheduled for 10 am. I’ve had a back treatment before, but never a true massage. This was awesome!
I can’t believe how many knots were in my neck and shoulders. My poor masseuse was afraid she was hurting me because she had to push so hard to try to work them out. She could tell that I sit in front of a computer all day and tense my shoulders. While today was meant to be a special treat (still using the spa package I got for my birthday in September), I may have to find a way to fit massages into my budget once per month.
*Have you ever gotten a great massage?*

Yes! Real massages are SO good and I think they are definitely needed every once in a while.
I think I may try to fit them in once every 2-3 months!

It’s amazing how much better massages make you feel! It’s been almost a year since my last one – I need to get on that!

One good way to get massages on a budget is to check out if you have a college nearby (often a community college) with a massage program or a massage school because the students need hours and so massages are cheap. If you want to go regularly, that is the way to go. Glad you enjoyed it. The Mexican food looks delish.

The only massage I’ve ever gotten was horrible and hurt like hell. I should’ve told the massuse but I didn’t know better. Oh well, live and learn!

I love when restaurants have chips instead of bread! 2 tips for massages on the cheap: check out Massage Envy, because with a membership you get a massage a month (something like 30 bucks for 50 min), or go with the hubs and get a couples massage- it’s usually 50% off the second. I love massages too, but haven’t been able to afford once since I’ve been in college!

Melissa, I’m sitting here with your parents, your favorite aunts and your precious grandmother. We were all wondering what place you’re staying at in Cancun. See ya soon!

As you know, I get massages all the time. I find them pretty easy to afford because I don’t spend money on coffees, lunches, etc…I make it all at home and bring it to work. I rarely go out to eat too. It’s worth it for the massages!
