Movie Night

When my parents visited last night, they brought a crockpot full of a version of beef stew.

Chock full of beef, broccoli, potatoes, and carrots.  A nice, hearty stew!

I haven’t showed my outfit to you guys in a while.  I attempted to take some photos last week but my outfits were kinda lousy!  I did much better today, cozy and comfortable.

I snacked on a Clementine before I went to the gym.

Normally I try to plan the week’s workouts on Monday morning, but I didn’t get around to it today.  I felt like such a rebel at the gym.  I wandered over to the stair master and considered.  Nah, I felt like running instead.  I used the treadmill for 25 minutes then used the foam roller.  I had time to sit in the sauna for 10 minutes before getting ready to go back to work.

Working out made me hungry and I needed an afternoon snack.

This 100 calorie packet of almonds was prefect.  I ate slowly, and sure enough, this little bag held me over until I got home from work.

I had leftover pizza for dinner, with a little Welsh Corgi on the side.

Jared and I planned a movie night.  There were technical difficulties with the DVR connection, but things got fixed and we were able to watch Julie & Julia, Jared’s choice.  I wanted to watch The Kite Runner, but Jared was in the mood for a light-hearted film.

We munched on popcorn and enjoyed a cute film about the trials and tribulations of cooking and blogging.  Not quite my life.  I don’t really cook….yet!!!

I loved that movie. I thought the relationship between Julia Child and her husband was so sweet.

Sounds like a nice, relaxing night. Thank you for being the only blogger that’s not all “Oh my god! I’m Julia!!!” after seeing that movie ;)

Melissa: Haha, there’s NO way I could be Julie. Getting tons of free stuff in the mail, 50 comments on a post, newspaper articles, books deals… Nope, totally not me! :)

I just blog and go out to dinner with my blog friends!
