As I was heading to the gym, I noticed it had started to snow. This view is from the 2nd floor of my office building. See how far my workout commute is?!?!
Since I wasn’t feeling 100% and I had already done a Body Pump workout, I took it easy. I stretched and used the foam roller in between a few jump rope intervals. Then I walked on the treadmill at a 6.5% incline for 10 minutes. I ended with 10 minutes in the sauna. Sweatin’ out the germs!

Plain grey turtleneck dress spiced up with a olive green scarf. Comfortable and it gave me an excuse to wear black tights and boots, my wardrobe essentials.
Oh no, when I uploaded this pic, I noticed spots on my nose and chin. There must be dust on my camera lense!

I needed an afternoon pick-me-up so I took a drive to DD for an ice coffee.
When I got home, my day got a lot better…
I had a $20 gift card to Sears so I asked Jared to purchase…
Drum roll please….

A Belgian Waffle Maker!
(Thanks Jared for carrying this home on the T and through the snow.)

Miles munched on the box while I finished the rest of the Wheatables.

Ripped apart…

Nom nom nom!

Jared made Annie’s mac and cheese for dinner and I added broccoli to my bowl so I could get a few extra veggies.
For dessert, the 1st batch of waffles in the new machine. So excited!!! I’m totally singing “It’s Waffle Time” right now. Expect pictures of dessert and more waffles for breakfast tomorrow morning.

Julie: For some reason I think it involved putting maple syrup on someone’s stomach. I used to love that show and wished that I could go to Camp Anawana!

Miles is so funny with that box! My cats like to tear through paper bags.
Mac and cheese with broccoli is the best combination ever!

Oooh, have fun with your new waffle maker. I like heating up frozen fruit and mixing it with a little syrup for a great topping.
