I Want S’more

001

I always get inspired by food on other people’s blogs but never follow through and make it for myself.  Today I did!

My stove top oats contained:

  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup of oatmeal
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of raisins
  • 1 tablespoon of dark chocolate chips
  • 1 handful of mini-marshmallows

002

You do the hokey pokey and you shake stir it all about.  That’s what it’s all about!

This was creamy, chocolaty, sweet and delicious.  It didn’t seem overly sugary and still tasted like breakfast, but it was a nice departure from the usual fruit and peanut butter flavors I always experience.

Before unpacking, this was what my lunch looked like.  Just a turkey sandwich and some SunChips.

And since I’ve been looking at old facebook photos from this past summer, I’ll let you guys take a peek too.

I’m really glad I looked at these photos because it reminded me of summer clothes that I want to pack for my trip to…. Cancun…. in 2 1/2 weeks!!!
