I was really in the mood for cereal, but we were out of milk. So I grabbed a strawberry Chobani and mixed in some Cinnamon Raisin Swirl peanut butter and a tablespoon of raisins. The regular raisins were SO much better than those in the PB. I love the cinnamon PB flavor, but wish the crappy little raisins had been left out.

My little friend Miles joined me for breakfast. (For those who’ve asked, Miles is a Welsh Corgi! Also known as the Queen’s Dog because Queen Elizabeth owns so many)

Who needs a dishwasher when you have a dog to clean every nook and cranny in the yogurt container?!?!
As predicted, I’m sore from Body Pump.
But it’s not a terrible/can’t move soreness. My muscles just feel tight and a little achy. Almost all of my muscles are sore! You know how it is: That great post-workout feeling when you know you accomplished something.
My abs are the only area that doesn’t feel the after-burn. At least abs are the easiest for me to work on my own so I don’t feel like I missed out. Even though the workout will be the same each time I take the class, I can continue to up the intensity by changing the weights. So next time I am going to hold a heavier weight during the abdominal work.

Wishful Nals: Please get a dog! I promise Miles will be nice. (No growling and biting) He really does need a friend cuz right now he’s like a lone wolf.

My dog loves to do the same thing. He always waits when I’m eating and if I don’t give him any spare licks or nibbles I find him pawing at my leg.

Lisa: Haha, you make me feel like a wimp for being sore.
But I did have to stop in the middle of bicep curls cuz I used too much weight and couldn’t lift the bar. I’m glad you liked the class.

As long as it’s a good soreness, you’ll see results

Glad you aren’t too sore! I like to be sore after a workout but the “can’t move” soreness is no fun.
Miles is too cute – glad he likes yogurt – I do too!
