Fun Holiday Movie Quote: “A toy is never truly happy until it is loved by a child.” -Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
I can’t believe I haven’t blogged ALL day. Don’t worry…you didn’t miss anything exciting in my life. But I’ll offer up a recap anyway. And PS: It’s still bitter cold in Boston, but no snow yet. (Julie loves it when people complain about the weather. Hahaaaa)

When I got home from work last night, I threw a salad together with whatever I could find in the fridge. There’s ground turkey and cheese buried under the spinach.

I also snacked on tomatoes and mozzarella dipped in olive oil.
We went to a bar near the TD Garden called McGann’s Pub and watched the Villanova football game. Then we went to The Greatest Bar and had a few drinks to celebrate Mark’s birthday. My dinner didn’t keep me very full so when we got home, I had Annie’s mac and cheese before going to bed.

I had a quick bowl of cereal before heading out on a shopping adventure.

I always cut through the Pru to get to Newbury Street because #1: it’s warm and #2: I like the decorations.

Jared met me for a late lunch at Trident Cafe on Newbury Street. I had heard good things about their fresh juices so I ordered one made with cucumber, celery, apple, and pineapple. It was really tasty, but I would’ve preferred less celery. It’s flavor tended to overpower everything else.

Mmm, ever since my friend Natalie encouraged us to eat French Onion Soup after her wedding, I’m constantly craving it.

I ate 1/2 of my veggie wrap and all of my chips and pickle. I definitely needed a good meal as a pick me up during my shopping trip.
I bought a coat at Nike Town and then had shopper’s remorse. I realized I had only bought it because it was on sale. I’d much rather have a North Face winter jacket. When I get numb from the cold, I’m willing to pay any price to warm up! I returned coat #1 and might’ve purchased said North Face jacket… Who cares if Christmas is in one week? I need to be prepared for the snow!
As part of my snowstorm prep, I also picked up some fleece liners for my Hunter wellington boots. Once I thaw out from my afternoon adventures, I’m going to bundle back up and take the dog for a walk. I’m already thinking about what flavor of tea I want to enjoy when I’m finally able to relax for the night.

When it’s cold AND snowing, complaining is allowed
The wrap looks good!! Nice and broccolish.
I’m prone to shoppers remorse sometimes. I get it even before I buy something sometimes…I walk around the store holding a bunch of stuff and fight with myself the entire time, then dump it all and leave.

Northface jackets are the best. I own one, and then a fleece and I constantly want more. I think a nice jacket is totally that is justifiable for you–I mean, you live in Bah-stan where its frickin cold! Go for it!

I have a Northface fleece and it is my favorite thing. I wear it all the time! I’d love a winter coat too, but I have a good one from LLBean, so I don’t really need another one.
Stay warm! It is really coming down now!

haha, maybe you’re like a coastie with the Northface jacket;) I LOVE my Northface coat when I have to be out in the cold…nothing can compare:) And you just reminded me I need new fleece liners for my boots…..I might have to stop at Nordstrom today for some!
Your wrap looks delish….we were on the same page yesterday…I had a veggie wrap (but with fries instead of chips)!
Hope you survive the snow!!!! It’s fun to look at but not when you have to go out in it!!

I am totally fiending Wellies! So jealous. And I am semi glad the snow is postponing the meetup because I finally might be able to make it in January! Positive spin on that one

Hey! Hope you’re staying warm! I was planning on going to Body Pump this morning (there was one at Chestnut Hill AND Back Bay) and inviting you, but with the snow, I was afraid to venture outside! Hope we can go workout together soon!
Stay warm!

I hope you’re enjoying the snow!!
I love that you “randomly threw together” food from in your fridge last night. I do that ALL THE TIME. IN fact, I think I’m going to write a cookbook about it
I’m excited!
