Holiday Cheer

Fun Holiday Movie Quote: “I want an Official Red Ryder Carbine-Action Two-Hundred-Shot Range Model Air Rifle!” -A Christmas Story

001

When I was 3/4 through my yogurt and granola mix, I realized that I was eating the yogurt exactly 1 month past its sell-by date.  Even though it hadn’t tasted funny before, I couldn’t stomach another bite.

I rushed to get gas (yup, during a snowstorm I left my car on E) and then went to a meeting at the provost’s office.  Even though I’ve been cleared to graduate and I’ve received a copy of my BC diploma, by dean is still trying to fight it.  I think this was the final meeting necessary to shut him down!

I made a sandwich with leftover chicken and vegetables from last night’s dinner.

My boss is well aware of my love for cupcakes.  Her Christmas Present to Me: She gave me 3 books, 1 about cupcakes and 2 about cake decorating.  I usually just look at the pictures and put these books aside.  But for some reason I feel really motivated to try to create something.  I’m on vacation from 12/24-1/4 so that’s plenty of time to make a nice treat!

What a nice boss! That’s a great gift.

Supposedly yogurt can last longer than it’s sell by date, but I’m not sure how long. Good thing you noticed!!

What a great gift from your boss – she clearly knows you.

I’ve eaten yogurt past its sell date…but I’m not sure about a month…

I hope you don’t get sick! Enjoy your Monday!

    Great gift!
I think you need the blog girls to come down and put the dean in his place. Good luck :)
