If You Give a Dog a Flip flop

If you give a dog a flip flop…

001

He’s going to sniff and lick it until it’s too wet to wear.

Miles was obsessed with my flip flops last night.  He provided some entertainment as he furiously licked my shoes.  But he got bored fairly quickly and began batting around a plastic water bottle.  Too cute!

I made a mini-whole grain bagel with cream cheese and blackberry jam for breakfast.

When I got to work, I sampled some Stonyfield Pumpkin Pie yogurt that I got at Whole Foods on Saturday night.  While I’m really glad I tried this, I didn’t like it at all!  Maybe I was expecting a more bitter pumpkin taste?  It was too sweet.  I kept telling myself that it would be better with granola.  I have one more container left so I’ll make sure to eat that one as a mix and see what my opinion is.  (I did get a good laugh over the cow wearing the pilgrim’s hat.  Totally made my morning!)

I am in super snackie mode.  I had some bagel chips and a bit of Laughing Cow cheese.  Can’t.  Stop.  Eating!

Trader Joe’s frozen tortellini bowl doesn’t count towards my ban of frozen meals because anything from Trader Joe’s in awesome.  I love this bowl because of the pesto sauce.  Per usual, I scorched the top of my mouth.

I didn’t notice the pilgram hat on the cow – how observent!

I wasn’t the biggest fan of the pumpkin yogurt either – it wasn’t what I expected.

Ooo, good call. I bet that yogurt in a smoothie with some oatmeal would be really good.

I went to my parents house this weekend and got to meet their “new” Corgi – Joey. He’s 4 and they adopted him from a breeder that had too many corgis. He is SO funny and my Dad likes to pretend he has a New York accent like Joey from Friends – “How YOU doin’.” I’ll have to get pictures at Thanksgiving!

Erin: Hahaha, that is too funny! I definitely would love to see pics on your blog. And any stories of bad corgi behavior so I don’t feel like Miles is the worst. :)

I really like your blog! I tried the Stoneyfield Pumpkin Pie Yogurt (I am a big time pumpkin pie lover) and I didn’t like it either even with granola. :^( Thier other flavors are good. I’m going to try some greek yogurt soon since all you bloggies seem to love them!
