I kept wandering into the kitchen and looking for something to eat. I wasn’t satisfied, but I couldn’t figure out what I wanted. Jared has defrosted a bag of chicken wings and they leaked all over the fridge. When he took the bag out to clean up the mess, I suggested he just cook the wings tonight.
And that was how my craving prayers got answered!
Jared baked the plain wings for 30 minutes at 375 degrees. Then he moved the wings to the top rack and broiled them for 10 minutes, remembering to keep the oven door ajar. He flipped them and then broiled them for 5 more minutes. Once the cooking was complete, he tossed them in Buffalo sauce and the wings were ready to go.

I made my own sauce by mixing plain Oikos with Blue Cheese crumbles. Instead of dipping my wings, I just smothered them. I’ve blogged about not being able to handle spicy foods so I hoped this new method would make the wings easier to eat.

Nope. I was still chugging water between bites. I didn’t eat all of the Oikos sauce, even though that would’ve been ok cuz Greek yogurt is so good for you.

Someone thought I needed to be completely honest with my readers and show you guys just how messy I got while eating my 4 little wings. I managed to wipe my fingers but I didn’t get a chance to clean my face before Jared got the camera out.

I love blue cheese! I get the fat free dressing from the store and dip carrot fries and sweet potato fries in it. I know it has HFCS in it, but when you need to feed a craving, you need to feed a craving. I’ll try the Greek yogurt method next time.
Love your nail polish!

What kind of wing sauce do you use?! My husband LOVES wings and we go out for them all the time, but I am always searching for new sauces to try:)
