Vitalicious

I bought lunch at the HealthWorks Cafe today.  I had a panini with chicken, provolone, roasted red peppers, spinach, and pesto sauce.

I had a bowl of Broccoli Cheddar soup as a side dish.  So filling!

Jared and I had planned on running tonight so I skipped the gym and just walked around to pass my lunch hour.  It was SO nice outside, almost 70 degrees in Brookline.

I snacked on baby carrots and the last of the Ranch veggie dip from Saturday’s party.

I love throwing a belt on with a loose, shapeless dresses.  By having several belts that match, I have more outfit options.

When I got home, I found a Vitalicious package waiting for me!  Vitalicious sent me some goodies to sample.

I’m really excited to try these 100 calorie muffin tops.  There are 10 different flavor options.  Plus a box of 100 calorie Vita Brownies.  The directions indicate that these are best kept in the freezer so I put most of them away.

I made BBQ Chicken Pizza for dinner.  The whole wheat pizza dough was really tough to work with.  It took a while to spread it out across my baking pan.  I prefer to make pizza on a stone, but I sent mine to my parents’ house when I moved this past summer.

I coated the dough with a thin layer of BBQ sauce.  Then I added bit of the leftover chicken breasts from dinner last night, mozzarella cheese, onions, and a few Blue Cheese crumbles.

I made a Blue Cheese dipping sauce to eat with my 1/2 of the pizza by mixing a spoonful of plain Chobani with a spoonful of Blue Cheese crumbles.

Jared got home as the pizza was ready to come out of the oven.  Sometimes laziness takes priority over everything else in life.  We decided to just enjoy dinner.  Grocery shopping (and possibly running) has been moved to tomorrow night.

Miles discovered that his Halloween treats are sitting on the bookshelf.  He’s been a maniac about guarding them and growls whenever anyone walks near him.

For dessert, I tried the Deep Chocolate Vitamuffin.  Wow!  As soon as I opened the package, I could smell chocolate goodness.  I ate this one at room temperature, but I bet it would be even better warmed up, with melty chocolate chips.  It was soft and chewy.  I wish I had vanilla bean ice cream to put on top of it.  Jared had a bite and agreed, saying it was tasty and reminded him of a brownie.

Love your outfit! It looks great with those shoes too! hot hot hot young lady!

Great pizza. Homemade are the best.

When I saw your post title, Vitalicious, I immediately started singing “Vita-lish-ous!” like that Fergie song “Fergalicious” in my head. Now it’s stuck there.

LOVE vitamuffins! I want to try the corn ones…..the cran bran or apple/cran bran are my favorite……I have chocolate ones but I had one and I think I need to eat it with ice cream or something because it tasted too vitamin-y to me?!?! I haven’t tried the brownies yet so I look forward to seeing what you think:)
