I snacked on a Honey Crisp apple when I got up this morning. Now I can see why everyone raves about them. It had a different apple flavor than I’m used to (Granny Smith, Macoun, etc.) but it was so good!

Matt and Natalie organized a group brunch at Aquitaine. I ordered a Mimosa first. I figured I deserved one since I only drank two beers last night and then cleaned up after the drunken debauchery. The coffee looked really good so I decided to give it a try. Mmmm, so tasty. Not sure if it was because I used real cream or if Aquitaine brews theirs differently.

I ordered Brioche French Toast. It was topped with blueberries, cream, and 2 strips of bacon. I added maple syrup, and then proceeded to devour the entire plate. Very reasonably priced and so delicious!

The yard is a little messy form last night, but it’s too cold and rainy to clean up. Everything will be ok until it stops raining and I can get outside.

My parents had been dogsitting all weekend. They brought Miles back to Boston around 4 pm, just in time to watch the Patriots game. My mom brought ingredients to make chicken soup. I don’t have a big pot so we had to use two smaller ones. My kitchen is too tiny to keep proper cooking equipment.

I had a steaming bowl of chicken soup and a mini chicken salad sandwich with Sunchips. It was the perfect meal for a rainy day, and nice to spend time with my parents.
As you can see, I am using my official domain name. There are a lot of glitches in the theme that I chose. Jared has already made 1 million changes, but I’m sure there will be more. I am really frustrated with WordPress at the moment. I miss the ease of BlogSpot. Hopefully I will learn things quickly and the move will produce good results and more customization options for Crunches for Cupcakes.
